Written for... something I can't find the link to anymore
( He identifies the missiles by sound, remembers half-forgotten tales of Gilgamesh. He watches as a millennial country crumbles under the gaudy illuminations of artillery -- in the ink blue sky, the stars are obscured by the glare. )
These two were written for pjvilar's HS!AU round robin
( That's why he purposefully ignores the loud cheer coming from the crowd and resolutely turns his head away -what he cannot see, or hear, cannot damage his brain - only to be met with an eyesore of a scene. )
